Paphos police investigating threat against a school principal
Paphos police are investigating a case of threats made against the principal of the primary school of Emba, related to Covid measures, reports said on Wednesday.
The threats allegedly came from a 32-year-old parent.
According to the deputy chief in Paphos, Michalis Ioannou, on Tuesday around noon, the school reported that the suspect had called the school and demanded to speak to the principal.
The school employee said the man then began to make threats that he would go to the home of the principal and cause harm to her and her children.
The school said the same person often calls them up and makes threats over various issues related to the Covid measures.
An arrest warrant has been issued.
